Michael downloaded Jamie Oliver’s Recipes app to his iPad a few weeks ago and finally got around to cooking up one of the recipes last night. The Quick Fish Stew & Bruschetta, which the food blog I’m No Jamie Oliver has also covered, wasn’t slowed down much by the walk to Whole Foods to pick up ingredients and turned out fabulously. We’re excited to dig deeper into Oliver’s iPad app, which is an interesting approach to a cookbook. It’s multimedia, with photos, videos and audio, and provides ten free recipes, with others for sale individually for $1.99, so you’re not buying a book with only a few recipes you’re interested in but purchasing only the ones you actually want to make. We’re excited to dig deeper into enhanced, multimedia cooking resources.
